New Beginnings Support & Education Group

New Beginnings Support & Education Group provides a safe place for victim/survivors of domestic violence to explore ways to begin making new and better choices and work toward a healthy and safe life for their future.

The twelve week curriculium is designed so that you can begin classes at any time.  Each participant will recieve a certificate of completion after attending the twelve sessions. 

Classes are held at an undisclosed location in both Allen and Hardin Counties for your safety and the safety of others in the group.  There is no cost to attend the group.

You can expect to learn:

• Safety planning
• How to set boundaries in your life
• To be assertive with the people in your life
• What to expect in a healthy relationship
• About domestic violnece and how it affects you and your children
• How to make better decisions in your life
• To set achievable goals
• How to improve your self esteem
• Your bill of rights
• How to gain support of other people in similar situations
